Sage Hill Math Field Day!!!! Today we had a few goals in mind (see photo), it was a rather mundane day as we went to work on our list. That meant the students capable of driving were dispatched as Math Field Day couriers to various schools in OC. Other members of the team were cooped up in the room (H108) grinding out the practice tests ensuring that they all were solvable, as well as making an official answer key for grading purposes. Regarding our other objectives for the day (how many awards, what were the awards going to be made of, and reserving facilities), these problems warranted a short discussion at the beginning of the day to decide who would be doing what. Ultimately Dr. Ishii, and Ms. Dear were going to handle the logistics of facilitates and awards. On the upcoming service learning meetings, we hope to finalize all the tests along with their answer keys, acquire prizes, purchase foodstuffs and other goodies, and gather all the necessary supplies for the day.
